In order to implement the community service system, in addition to preparing a plan that has been approved by the Executive Yuan, unified operational procedures such as the "Operational Guidelines for Prosecution Agencies in Conducting Community Service" and the "Selection and Execution Operational Regulations for Community Service Execution Agencies" have been issued. The probation assistants recruited in this case work under the supervision of prosecutors and probation officers, assisting the probation officers in conducting pre-service briefings, coordinating with community service organizations, notifying the individuals involved, and assisting in monitoring the execution process. However, it should be noted that the probation assistants are not granted the full authority of executing community service, as the exercise of such authority remains with the probation officers.
