Social labor is a system based on the concept of "community service" from foreign countries, as well as Article 74 of the current Criminal Law and Article 235-2 of the Criminal Procedure Law in our country, which relate to probation and deferred prosecution. It is designed as a form of alternative sentencing that involves providing unpaid labor or services as a substitute for short-term imprisonment or fines. It carries a punitive nature and serves as a means of punishment.
